Myrrhzone Molyac Institute’s ‘Kareube Virtuous Cycle Farming Method’ Gains Rapid Popularity Among Strawberry Farmers
The Myrrh Life, the official distribution arm of Kareube fertilizer, announced on the 28th that its ‘Kareube Virtuous Cycle Farming Method’—which enables strawberry cultivation without pesticides or chemical fertilizers—is rapidly expanding nationwide.
Developed by Myrrhzone Molyac Institute (Biorootics Co., Ltd.), Kareube is characterized by its dual ability to promote crop growth while simultaneously resolving pest and disease issues. According to the institute, the product is highly beneficial not only for organic farms but also for conventional farms struggling with pesticide residue concerns. Following several years of successful trial cultivations, the institute has recently commenced full-scale distribution to agricultural farms.
Il-ho Kim (76), former chairman of the Nonsan Farmers' Association and a long-time strawberry and grape farmer in Nonsan, Chungnam, shared his experience: "In my decades of strawberry farming, I have never felt as rewarded and excited as I do now." He explained, "Frequent pesticide spraying made natural bee pollination difficult and took a toll on my health. I decided to experiment by growing a small patch for my own consumption using only Kareube (Myrrh) fertilizer, and the results were astonishing."
Kim stated, "Despite using zero pesticides, the strawberries grew exceptionally sturdy, and the yield was even higher than in areas treated with pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Since then, I have converted my entire strawberry production to the Kareube method."
He now uses bees for pollination and farms without any chemical antimicrobials. Above all, he noted that his personal health has improved, and he now supplies his strawberries to major department stores at premium prices.
